Offensive Players of the Week: Cam Newton, QB, Blinn and Milton Howell, QB, Navarro — Howell completed 20 of 32 passes for a career-high 366 yards and 3 TDs in Navarro’s 35-7 win over Georgia Military. Newton was 12 of 14 for 159 yards and 4 TDs and added 1 TD rushing in the Bucs’ 65-6 win over Southeast Prep.
Defensive Player of the Week: R.J. Bartley, LB, NEO — The freshman linebacker recorded 6 unassisted tackles, 2 assists and 2 quarterback sacks for minus-18 yards as NEO allowed Arkansas Baptist only 3 yards rushing in a 19-14 win.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Josh Johnson, KR, TVCC — Johnson returned 2 punts for 70 yards, including a 55-yarder, and he also returned 3 kickoffs for 78 yards. Both the punt retrns set up scores for the Cardinals, who romped to a 41-14 win.

Offensive Player of the Week: Vincent McNeil, QB, Tyler — The Apache signal-caller completed 10 of 17 passes for 150 yards and 2 TDs and rushed for an additional 69 yards and 2 TDs as Tyler rolled to a 51-33 win over Kilgore
Defensive Player of the Week: Blinn Defense — The Buc defensive unit allowed only 18 total yards, including minus-14 yards rushing. The Bucs registered eight sacks and eight additional tackles for loss.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Jaborski Smiley, KR, Tyler — Smiley returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown and added 86 more yards on kickoff returns.
